Nomination form: EDHE DVC Award 2020

The annual EDHE Awards 2020 is scheduled to take place on Friday 27 November 2020 as a blended event, live-streamed on the EDHE Student Entrepreneurship Facebook page. One of the awards to be made at the occasion is the coveted EDHE DVC Award in recognition of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor who has facilitated exceptional institutional support for entrepreneurship development in 2020. Current staff and students from the 26 public universities in SA are invited to nominate the DVC whom they consider to be most deserving of the EDHE DVC Award by clicking on the link https://edhe.co.za/dvc-awards and voting before 9:00 on FRIDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2020. Any enquiries may be directed to Lerato Makgonyane at lerato@usaf.ac.za. This is an excellent opportunity to ensure that the support for entrepreneurship provided by DVCs is recognised and encouraged.

Please note the following:

  • ONLY current employees at one of the 26 public universities or registered students at one of the 26 public universities in SA may nominate a DVC.
  • ANY current Deputy Vice-Chancellor or Vice-Rector at one of the 26 public universities in SA may be nominated, regardless of their specific designation, e.g. DVC: Academic, DVC: Research and Innovation, or any other.

Nominations will be evaluated by a neutral panel consisting of senior representatives of Universities South Africa (USAf) and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). No correspondence will be entered into after the submission of nominations, apart from the acknowledgement of receipt of the nomination.
