- The EDHE Lekgotla 2018 is not an academic conference, but is rather an event aimed at effecting change in entrepreneurship at a practical and functional level.
- The EDHE Lekgotla 2018 is not focused on addressing the needs of entrepreneurs primarily, but in stead on equipping stakeholders to provide an environment in which student entrepreneurs and their businesses can flourish.
- The EDHE Lekgotla 2018 is not a marketing event.
