Thohoyandou, 8 October 2018: Hundreds of students at rural universities have embraced the entrepreneurship roadshow that has visited institutions of higher learning in Gauteng, North West Province, the Free State, the Eastern Cape and Limpopo over the past three weeks.
Building on the Student Entrepreneurship Week (#SEW2018) which was hosted at public universities countrywide throughout August, the roadshow comprises one day interactive workshops and has been organised by Entrepreneurship Development in Higher Education (EDHE).
Students in Vanderbijlpark, Mafikeng, Bloemfontein, Mthatha, East London, Butterworth, Grahamstown and Thohoyandou have flocked to the workshops to hear motivational presentations by high profile role-models and to participate in a ‘pitching competition’ with R10,000 at stake.
