Student Women Economic Empowerment Programme (SWEEP)
The Student Women Economic Empowerment Project (SWEEP) is a project, which serves a special purpose aimed at equipping student women for entrepreneurial activity in the context of gender-based violence and the under-representation of student women in entrepreneurship.
Since the launch of the NMU SWEEP Student Chapter at the EDHE Lekgotla in July, we have received a number of enquiries about launching SWEEP Student Chapters at other universities. The SWEEP Task Team will convene for a planning workshop in this regard and will share feedback with you on the SWEEP LinkedIn page and the EDHE social media pages. Please also send an expression of interest to frances@usaf.ac.za.
